Avoid Delays Due To Insurance Certificates

Have you or one of your drivers sat at a terminal waiting to receive a load, but are delayed because you didn't have the right kind of certificate of insurance to satisfy the shipper?

Through its affiliation with Great West Casualty Company, Joe Morten & Son is able to offer a blanket additional insured endorsement to meet the contractual requirements of motor carriers. This endorsement automatically provides additional insured status, primary and non-contributory coverage, and waiver of subrogation to the shipper when required by the motor carrier’s written contract.

This advantage eliminates the need to individually name shippers and others to your policy and allows certificates of insurance to be issued right away. This is helpful when you are at a terminal waiting for a certificate and helps to ensure that the coverage required by the motor carrier’s contract is provided.

Since the endorsement does provide coverage on a broader basis than Great West's standard additional insured endorsements, there will be a charge based on the size of the account. There are some limitations on the use of the blanket additional insured endorsement. Please consult with your Joe Morten & Son agent for more details.

All policy terms, conditions, definitions, and exclusions apply to this coverage. Please see your agent for exact provisions.
