What is the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse?

Great West Casualty Company and Joe Morten & Son, Inc. are pleased to offer Great West Performance Series (GPS) webinars that cover the latest issues impacting the trucking industry. December's webinar will cover the Federal Motor Carrier Administration's (FMCSA) Commercial Driver's License Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

The Clearinghouse is intended to be a tool for the FMCSA and employers, to identify drivers who have received violations and may be prohibited from operating a commercial motor vehicle on public roads. This information will enable employers to identify current or prospective employees who previously received violations while working for another employer but failed to report it as required by current regulations.

The Clearinghouse will be fully operational by January 6, 2020. More information can be found at the FMCSA's website, which can be accessed by clicking here.

Representatives from the FMCSA will provide an overview of the Clearinghouse, including the specific information it will contain, as well as actions that must be taken by authorized users to access the Clearinghouse.

The webinar is scheduled for 90 minutes on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at 1:00 PM CST. Click on the button below to register. You will receive a confirmation email with webinar login information after you submit your completed registration.
